Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get more information?

Just call 650-785-6785 or fill out the Contact Us form.

I’m going into the hospital soon. Do I need an advocate?

About 15% of discharged patients return to the hospital within 30 days. We work to reverse this trend in readmissions by identifying patterns in high-risk people and intervening before problems arise. We follow you through the recuperation period and watch for any emerging problems.

My family doesn’t agree on what’s best for our mom. Can we be helped?

We specialize in helping families shift from discord to harmony as they care for a loved one and navigate the health care system.

How do I start services?

The first step is having a brief conversation or filling out the email inquiry form on our website.

Do you work with physicians?

Many of our clients are referrals from physicians. We have strong relationships with primary care physicians, cardiologists, neurologists, endocrinologists, oncologists, and many more medical professionals.

Do you prescribe medications?

No, we do not prescribe any medication. Nurse Care Managers do manage medications, including ordering refills, coordinating weekly pill boxes, prescription creams and medication patches.

How much are your services?

We are professionals who bill by the hour. At all times, we are transparent and practical with respect to our fees. The first phone call is free of charge. We do have additional rates for evening, weekend and holiday services.

Does Medicare or Medicaid or other insurance cover your services?

All our services are paid privately by our clients via check or credit card. Insurance does not cover our services.

Do you work with serious health conditions?
